Meet Dick. After years of neuropathy, his balance worsened, and during golf outings, it felt like walking in cement. With his dream golf trip approaching, he sought care for his condition. After starting treatment, his first improvement was feeling the gas pedal while driving. Now, his feet feel lighter, no longer encased in cement, and he’s glad he no longer needs orthotics.

Meet Garry. His neuropathy left him unable to feel his feet and legs, making walking, balancing, and even holding himself up in the shower difficult. A walk to his mailbox took everything he had. Since starting care, he’s experienced weekly improvement—he can feel more, balance better, and shower without holding the wall. He even took long walks two days in a row, something he hadn’t done in six years! Before care, his A1C was 8.3-8.6, and his blood sugar was over 300. Now, his A1C is 6.5, and his blood sugar ranges from 85-113!

Meet Tim. Type II diabetes affected his energy, weight, mood, and activities, compounded by neuropathy symptoms. Since starting care, he feels like he’s gotten his life back—his energy has improved, he’s lost weight, he’s back in the gym and riding his bike, and his neuropathy has eased. Plus, his blood sugar has dropped from the 130s to the 90s, even reaching as low as 68!

Meet Jeanne. She had sensitive neuropathy in her hands, which felt like glass particles, making it difficult to quilt, sew, or even hold the steering wheel. After just a month and a half of care, she’s back to crafting, quilting, and sewing, and is thrilled to help her husband again by folding laundry, sweeping, and doing the dishes.

Meet Normand and Rita. Normand’s neuropathy was so severe that Rita feared he’d end up in a wheelchair or need amputations. Since starting care, he’s on fewer medications and has improved “night and day.” Their kids can hardly believe the difference in him!

Meet Richard. After just two and a half weeks of care, his painful neuropathy improved, allowing him to sleep through the night, go for walks, and feel no pain.

Meet Patricia. Patrica says her neuropathy made her feet feel like two blocks of cement. She says it often stopped her from being able to shop, cook her own meals, or even go to the restroom at night without a walker because of how it affected her balance. After starting care, Patricia says she can finally move and feel her feet again, which allows her to keep up with her granddaughter while shopping!
Meet Holly. Holly says her neuropathy made it very difficult to walk because it was painful to take a step. She says she is grateful to find an office that made her feel welcomed, supported,  and helped her live a healthier life. Since starting care, she says her feet are now more flexible with much less pain and are no longer a concern.
Meet Robert. Robert had been struggling with neuropathy due to diabetes complications for several years. Robert’s balance had gotten to the point where he was having multiple falls a year while performing simple tasks around the home and he was concerned that he let his neuropathy get to the point where nothing could be done and he would be destined to lose toes. Fortunately, we caught his neuropathy before it got to that point and Robert and Anna have seen great improvement with Robert’s neuropathy.

Meet Pastor Derek. Pastor Derek had suffered from complications from Type 2 Diabetes for 20 years. He tried medications, felt lethargic, and suffered from gout and continuous pain. Since starting care, he says he feels stronger, has more energy, and that the pain has left his body, allowing him to get back to speaking and teaching like he loves to do.

Meet Ralph. Ralph had been suffering from neuropathy pain for over 3 years. His condition was affecting his ability to walk, and his balance had gotten to the point that he had taken multiple falls. Since working with Ralph, he has seen almost all of his pain in his feet vanish, as well as significant improvements in his balance.

Meet Carl. Carl suffered from significant nerve damage in both legs. After just four months of following all of Dr. Berning’s recommendations, Carl is pleased to say he saw a 50% improvement in his condition so far.

Meet Robert. Robert’s neuropathy pain made it difficult for him to work more than an hour or two before he had to take his shoes off and sit down to let his feet rest. He says he suffered from constant pain. He tried medication to alleviate the pain, but says he had to stop because of the side effects. After just a month and a half of treatment, Robert says he can go a whole work day without having to take off his shoes. He is hopeful for how well he will do under Dr. Berning’s care.

Meet Sandy. Sandy came to us after suffering from neuropathy for 2 years. Her pain had gotten to the point that she was unable to walk on the beach with her husband anymore, and was beginning to severely debilitate her quality of life. Within 3 months of working with Sandy she has seen tremendous improvement in her pain levels, and has improved her walking ability.

Meet Bill. From a decade playing professional hockey for the Boston Bruins, needless to say there is going to be damage in the body. Bill came to us suffering from every neuropathy symptom in the book, especially pain. His pain had gotten to the point that standing and walking had become very difficult. After working with Bill for about 2 months, Bill Saw great results in his pain levels and has gone from being able to barely walk a block to even getting to go back to running.

Meet JoAnne. JoAnne came to us with horrible pain in her legs following a leg bypass surgery in the summer of 2018. The pain in her legs had gotten to the point where she was not able to walk, and was deterred from wanting to go and be with friends and family because of the pain she knew she would be in. After working with her for just 2 months, JoAnne was able to walk pain free and was able to experience a drastic improvement in her quality of life.

Meet Melissa. Melissa came to us suffering from neuropathy induced by her chemotherapy treatment. Melissa had been on 3,000 mg of Gabapentin and was concerned with her worsening symptoms of numbness and pain, and having to continue increasing her medications as a result. After about 2 months of being treated, Melissa has experienced incredible improvement in her pain levels. As a result, she is able to sleep much better, and has been able to significantly reduce her Gabapentin dosage to 900 mg with hopes of being completely off of it in the near future!

Meet Peter. Peter came in with discomfort in his right foot around his toes and was ready to live without it. After about one month of working with Dr. Berning, the discomfort in Peter’s feet had vanished, and the overall sensation in his feet has significantly improved.
